Senai Ayob

Senai Ayob is an Associate and his responsibilities cover the entire investment process, from sourcing new investment opportunities in which Priveq as owner will contribute to growth and value creation, to implementing growth and development strategies together with other owners, the board of directors and management.

Senai joined Priveq in 2012 and he currently sits on the boards of ILT Inläsningstjänst, Industri-Matematik, Scanmast and Swemac and is deputy member of the board of 4C Strategies.

Before joining Priveq, Senai worked with equity research at ABG Sundal Collier. He has an M.Sc. in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics.

Martin Bjarnemar

Martin Bjarnemar is an Associate and his responsibilities cover the entire investment process, from sourcing new investment opportunities in which Priveq as owner will contribute to growth and value creation, to implementing growth and development strategies together with other owners, the board of directors and management.

Martin joined Priveq in 2019 and has previously worked in corporate finance at Deloitte and Danske Bank. He holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration with a major in Corporate and Financial Management from Lund University.

Helena Ekstrand

Helena Ekstrand is Partner and CFO at Priveq. Her responsibilities include internal accounting and reporting, as well as reporting to investors.

Before joining Priveq in 2005, Helena worked as an auditor at Previsor Revisionsbyrå.
She holds a B.Sc. in Economics with a major in Accounting from Stockholm University.

Partner & Executive Chairman

Magnus Hardmeier

Magnus Hardmeier is Partner and the Executive Chairman of Priveq. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, in which Priveq will contribute with growth and value creation, as well as implementing growth strategies in cooperation with other owners, the board of directors and management.

Magnus started working with private equity in 1987 and was one of the founders of Priveq in 1998. His investment work includes being responsible for Priveq’s ownership in Gibeck, Hörnell, FM Mattsson Mora Group and Novaseptic. Magnus is currently a director of the board of Metenova and deputy member of the boards of Omegapoint and Swemac.

Before starting Priveq, Magnus worked with private equity at Företagskapital and worked at Wallenius Lines as Controller.

He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and has also studied at McGill University in Montreal.

Mats Hjerpe

Mats joined Priveq in 2003 and currently sits on the boards of 4C Strategies, CSAM Health, Mediaplanet and QleanAir Scandinavia.

Before joining Priveq, Mats worked for Aragon Fondkommission. He holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Stockholm University.

Henrik Jatko

Before joining Priveq, Henrik worked as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company.
He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business, with a major in Accounting and Financial Management from Stockholm School of Economics.

Johan Koch

Johan Koch is Partner and Investment Manager. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and the entire investment cycle.

Johan joined Priveq in 2006 and his work includes the investments in Mediplast and San Sac. He is responsible for Priveq’s ownership in Scanmast and is currently also a director of the boards of Lamiflex and Scanmast.

Before joining Priveq, Johan worked at Swedbank Corporate Finance. He holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics and an LL.M. from the University of Lund.

Fanny Leksell

Fanny Leksell is an Associate and her responsibilities extend to the entire investment process, from sourcing new investment opportunities in which Priveq as owner will contribute to growth and value creation, to implementing growth and development strategies together with other owners, the board of directors and management.

Fanny joined Priveq in 2016 and is currently a member of the boards of Parfym.se and Trendhim, and a deputy member of the board of Frontit. Fanny has previously worked in corporate finance at Handelsbanken and most recently with real estate transactions at Cushman & Wakefield. She has also worked with M & A at Crédit Agricole in Paris and has a BSc in Business and Economics and a MSc in Business and Economics, specialization in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Office Manager/Assistant

Maria Lundborg

Maria Lundborg works at Priveq as Office Manager and assistant to the Investment team. She is responsible for daily office operations including the website, organising conferences, seminars and public relations activities.

Maria joined Priveq in 2012. Before that, she worked as assistant to the investment team at Investor Growth Capital.

Louise Nilsson

Louise Nilsson is Partner and CEO of Priveq. In addition to leading and developing Priveq, she is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, in which Priveq will contribute with growth and value creation, as well as implementing growth strategies in cooperation with other owners, the board and management.

Since Louise joined Priveq in 1998, she has, among other investments, been responsible for the ownership in Carmel Pharma, Hemtex, Swedish Orphan International and Vårdapoteket. She is currently a director of the boards of CSAM Health, Industri-Matematik, Metenova, Plint and Ports Group.

Before joining Priveq, Louise worked for nine years as a chartered accountant for ÖhrlingsCoopers & Lybrand (now PwC), with responsibility for small and medium-sized owner-led companies.

Louise holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Luleå University.

Daniel Nylund

Daniel joined Priveq in 2020 and is currently a deputy member of the board of Industri-Matematik. He has previously worked with M&A at Grant Thornton. Before that he worked with Business Development and M&A at Attendo. Daniel holds an M.Sc. in Accounting & Finance from Stockholm School of Economics and has also studied at Smith School of Business, Canada.

Henrik Westfeldt

Henrik Westfeldt is Partner and Investment Manager. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, in which Priveq will contribute with growth and value creation, as well as implementing growth strategies in cooperation with other owners, the board of directors and management.

Henrik started working with private equity in 1990 and was one of the founders of Priveq in 1998. He has, among other things, been responsible for the ownership in Boomerang, Carema, Mediplast, ReadSoft and Sydtotal. He is currently a director of the boards of Frontit, ILT Inläsningstjänst and Ljung & Sjöberg.

Prior to joining Priveq, Henrik worked with private equity at Skandia Investment and Skandia Kapitalförvaltning.

He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law.

Karl-Johan Willén

Karl-Johan Willén is Partner and Investment Manager. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, as well as working with growth strategies, acquisitions and incentive programmes for the companies owned by Priveq. Karl-Johan is also responsible for Priveq’s work within Environmental Social and Corporate Governance.

Since Karl-Johan joined Priveq in 1998, he has been responsible for Scandinavian Photo, Sydtotal, San Sac, Unisport Scandinavia and Crem International. He is currently a director of the boards of Danfo, Nordic Room Improvement and Pilot Flight Academy.

He holds an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from the University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Karl-Johan also studied Business Intelligence at Stockholm University.

Controller

Jakob Öhmark

Jakob Öhmark is Controller at Priveq, with responsibilities for communication and reporting to investors, dialogue with portfolio companies, and working on issues relating to valuation and accounting.

Jakob started at Priveq 2018 and has previously worked as an accountant at PwC and as a consultant in the financial sector at Ernst & Young.

He holds a degree in Economics from Uppsala University and has also completed semesters at Inje University, South Korea, and Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, the Netherlands.
