The founders of Volupe and FS Dynamics have partnered with Priveq to create a European leader within Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), combining software reselling and high-end engineering consultancy. Priveq is acquiring a majority stake in both companies, with the founders reinvesting alongside Priveq with the ambition to accelerate the group’s continued growth.

“Partnering with Priveq marks an exciting new chapter for our companies. With their experience in scaling technology-driven businesses and strong commitment to long-term partnerships, we’re confident we’ve found the right investor to support our next phase of growth. By bringing FS Dynamics and Volupe together, we significantly strengthen our offering to both customers and employees. United, we form a leading CAE Powerhouse built on competence, innovation, and long-term commitment.” says Roger Blom, founder of Volupe and FS Dynamics, and CEO of the combined group.

Volupe is a Siemens Smart Expert Solution Partner and a leading value-added reseller (VAR) of Siemens CAE simulation software, offering software subscriptions, training, technical support, and a cloud-based HPC solution tailored for SME companies. Since its founding in 2017, Volupe has expanded rapidly and now holds Siemens reseller agreements in 4 regions and 22 European countries.

FS Dynamics is a leading CAE consultancy, offering expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Structural Dynamics (FEA). With 150 CAE-engineers, the company supports nearly 200 clients annually, serving industries in sectors such as semiconductors, energy, marine, transportation, offshore and life science with development projects as well as consultants working in customers’ organizations.

“We are creating something unique – an independent, competence-driven group with 100% focus on CAE. The market is clearly ready for this.” says Robert Samuelsson, CEO of Volupe.

Together, the companies form a unique platform combining software, services, cloud-based HPC-solutions and deep domain knowledge – enabling continued growth and the ability to deliver even greater value to customers at a larger scale. The group currently generates annual revenues of approximately EUR 25 million and includes more than 170 employees with 7 offices across Europe and sales presence and deliveries in 25 countries.

“Volupe and FS Dynamics are regional leaders within their respective segments of the CAE ecosystem. We see strong long-term potential driven by increased simulation adoption and a growing need for advanced engineering services. We are excited to support the companies’ continued growth – organically and through strategic acquisitions – in close partnership with the founders and employees.” says Henrik Jatko, Partner and Investment Manager at Priveq.

“The combination of high-end software reselling and CAE focused consultancy platform creates a compelling platform for future expansion. We’re proud to partner with the founders and leadership teams to build a long-term regional leader in CAE.” adds Daniel Nylund, Investment Manager at Priveq.
